PE Plus+ Services

PE PPA Cover

We provide suitably trained and qualified sports coaches to deliver NCPE to cover PPA time.  Units of Work, lesson plans and assessments are produced to ensure high quality teaching takes place.  Coaches are led and supported by a qualified PE teacher with 13 years experience.  School packages range from half days to full weeks to cover a term or academic year.   Free after school club included in the provision.

After School Sports Coaching

A games based approach to delivering a range of fun and exciting after school sports clubs.  We look to provide our ASC programme over a half or full term and take the hassle out of the administration, recruitment and financial aspects of providing extra curricular activities.

Spider Monkeys Climbing Wall

Our extremely popular and unique bouldering traverse wall provides an affordable and accessible way to introduce climbing at your school.  Standing 8ft high with 32ft of climbing surface, we can configure the wall to fit even the most smallest of school halls.  Without the need for specialist equipment, we can provide a range of activities to challenge beginners through to adults.   Towers , overhangs, slabs and corners host a range of bright, colourful holds which can be adapted to suit your type of session.  reward/activity days, structured coaching, National Curriculum PE, fun days, healthy schools or think outside the box to include cross curricular links into numeracy, literacy, art, history, geography.  

Sports Science Days (NYBEP STEM Ambassador)

A day programme of cool experiments, tests and workshops to discover how science in sport works.  We explain the science involved in many sports through a practical approach using simple everyday PE equipment.  Days also include basic biology topics such as senses, circulation, the digestive system and muscles all taught in a fun way to help children learn about the human body.  

PE INSET Training and Professional Development for Teachers

Delivered by a qualifed PE Teacher with 13 years experience of coaching and teaching,  training can be tailored to suit your indivdual staff requirements.  Examples include; Multi Skillls workshop, How to implement Outdoor and Adventurous Activities, Teaching Games, Assessment in NCPE, Use of QCA Core Tasks. 

Sports Leadership for young Leaders

We can provide leadership awards and qualifications for all requirements.  Delivered by an Accredited Sports Leader UK tutor, courses range from the popular Young Leader Award for 9-13 year olds; to Level 1 and 2 in Sports Leadership, 14+ and 16+ respectively.

Gifted & Talented Identification (S.T.A.R.S) 

A day programme that aims to capture and analyse data useful in the identification of gifted and talented performers in PE.  we use a range of recognised practical tests and activities to collate scores on individual pupils.   

Healthy Schools Day

A day programme using fun practical activities and workshops to help teach children the importance of healthy eating, physical activity and health and well-being.

Traditional Playground Games

A fun 3 hour workshop teaching children and mid-day supervisors basic leadership skills through a range of traditional playground games.  Following the course, children and supervisors will be equiped with the neccessary skills and resource cards to implement fun, traditional activities during break and lunch times.

 World Games Day / Black History Week

A recent addition to the PE Plus portfolio following a successful pilot in a Sheffield junior school.  We can link sport and Physical Education to your whole school theme / topic.  Including activities such as Kabaddi (India), Bastani (Iran), Wrestling (Eygpt), Formula 1 (Libiya), Mehebes (Iraq) and Camel Jumping (Yemen)!
